Jacob Elordi and Zendaya have a lot of love and respect for one another behind the scenes, even though you could never guess that judging by the type of relationship their Euphoria characters have on screen. After all, Nate and Rue are not even close to being the best of friends!
But, in reality, when Zendaya won an Emmy for her role in the popular series, Jacob Elordi was super happy for her, although he was not even surprised she got it!

As you may know, Zendaya made history as the youngest star to ever receive the Best Actress award at the Emmys.
Now, in a new interview for Vanity Fair, Jacob Elordi gushed over his co-star, having nothing but positive things to say about her.

‘She’s a power unto herself and so talented. Such a sweetheart,’ he told the news outlet.
While they appear to be just good friends at this point, the Kissing Booth actor and the former Disney star were also linked together romantically last summer.
The two were seen in Greece on vacation in each other’s company.
Later on, they were even spotted seemingly kissing while in New York in February of 2019.
However, Jacob would go on to deny the reports that he and Zendaya are anything else than just friends, even telling GQ Australia that she is ‘like [his] sister.’
‘She’s super dope to work with. She’s an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us,’ he raved about her at the time.
And it appears like she feels the same! While presenting him with the Rising Star award at the American Australian Association Arts Awards, Zendaya dubbed her Euphoria co-star as her ‘best friend!’
Fans of the show should be looking forward to more of their on-screen interactions since the actors are currently back to shooting the second season of Euphoria!
