Ice Cube is responding to critics who think he is being used by Trump after many people compared the situation to Steve Harvey and Kanye.
Cube revealed months ago that he wanted to implement permanent changes that will help the Black community in a way that any administration has not helped before.
He, and a few others, put together something called a contract with Black America which dealt with issues like police brutality, loans, business grants, and more.
The republicans recently unveiled a $500 billion plan that was a response to the proposal.
Recently, someone from the Trump administration tweeted that they were working with Ice Cube.
This caused an explosion on social media.

Cube recently spoke to Roland Martin where he revealed that he wanted to meet with both parties to discuss the situation. He explained that the democrats said that they are open to it after the election whereas the republican party were willing to discuss the proposal.
Cube took the time during his appearance on Roland Martin’s series to explain that some of his Contract with Black America trickled down into the Platinum Plan that was introduced by the Trump administration and feels that both parties need to work for the Black vote.
‘You see a lot of people have been talking about this $500 billion, that’s not going to Black people. In fact, that’s just actually the infrastructure funding program, that’s not actually $500 billion going to black people,’ Roland Martin explained.
Cube countered with: ‘How many billion is the other one giving to Black people?’
Martin rebutted: ‘No no no no, what I’m saying is that’s not even, they list this thing under black economic empowerment and access to capital, it says ‘seek infrastructure funding that will lead to widespread growth in the annual $500 billion federal contracting opportunities.’ That line right there is not for black people. That’s federal contracting opportunities for everybody. So that’s not, they’re trying to make it sound like ‘Oh, $500 billion to Black people. It’s not. That’s the actual annual program overall for everybody’
Although they disagreed, Ice Cube has his mind set on what he is trying to do and explained that whatever party is in office is the party he will be working with.
