‘This is my grandfather and native Nebraskan, John Booker Glass, when he served in WWII. This is St Mark’s Square in Italy. His unit was a mounted supply unit that supported different operations, first in the Philippines, then Libya, and last in Italy. The last pic is my grandpa and his brother, my Uncle Joe Glass. Today and every day, we honour our veterans!!’ Gabrielle began her message.
She continued and said: ‘#HappyVeteransDay 🖤🙏🏾 Let us continue to fight for our veterans and their families to make sure they have all of the support and services they have earned and so richly deserve.’
