Documents acquired by the New York Post’s Page Six says Tom has been sued by Wells Fargo Vendor Financial Services for breaching a written agreement and discussion regarding rental equipment and more.

Filed on the 9th of December in a LA Superior Court, Girardi has been accused of entering five different lease agreements with the bank but failing to meet the terms in all of them. The agreements had to do with the lease of office gear.

According to the financial organization, Girardi and his company failed to pay the money they owed, including fees for a purchase option, overages, late fees, taxes, rental charges, and maintenance fees. Additionally, Page Six says Girardi and his firm owe them nearly a million dollars: $882,715.52, to be precise.

The bank wants to be paid the money they are owed, moreover, there is a 10% interest charge to go on top of the amount. Furthermore, the lawsuit says the firm has continued to hold on to the office equipment in two different locations across California.

The law firm has been accused of embezzling settlement funds that were supposed to go to victims of the Lion Air Flight 610. And what sparked the most controversy on social media was the lawsuit’s claim that Girardi and Jayne’s divorce was merely a way for them to avoid having to pay their debts.

In other words, Edelson PC said Girardi and Jayne conspired to hide their money, using a divorce as their means to do so. As it was previously reported, Jayne filed for divorce at the start of November after 21 years of marriage.
