Erika Girardi And Tom Girardi’s Divorce Is A Scam A New Lawsuit Claims

A new lawsuit says that the divorce between Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi is all a scam, Page Six reported today. Filed on Wednesday, Edelson PC, a class-action firm, is now suing Erika and Tom for supposedly taking the money from a settlement fund that was meant for airplane crash victims, specifically, those aboard the Lion Air Flight 610.

The suit says Tom and his law firm are about to collapse due to debt, mismanagement of funds, and personal misspending. More importantly, they claim the law firm is going under because of Tom’s need to fund an “outrageous” lifestyle for himself and that of his “soon-to-be-ex-wife, Erika Jayne.”

Moreover, the suit stated that it only appeared as though Erika Jayne filed for divorce from Tom because he was losing money. However, the lawsuit claims the divorce was merely a fraud to try and protect their money from those who are trying to collect from Tom and his law firm.

Reportedly, Tom has been involved in this kind of behavior before. They say he has used the money from clients in the past to fund their lifestyle, “release personal guarantees,” pay loans, and funnel some of the money to their friends and family for other debts.

The suit also pointed to Erika’s song, “Exxpen$ive,” claiming that it costs $40,000 per month for Erika to look the way she does. Page Six previously claimed that the singer had filed for divorce from him after twenty years back in November of this year.

Erika and Tom don’t have a prenuptial agreement together, but Erika, 49, did ask for spousal support from the 81-year-old lawyer. Thus far, it isn’t known whether their lawsuit will play out on the TV screen during an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
