Dr. Dre and Nicole Young aren’t getting along very well anymore, that much is for certain. Hot New Hip Hop and other outlets have reported repeatedly on the separation between the Beats creator and Young following their split earlier this year.
At the moment, Nicole is reportedly asking for $2 million in monthly spousal support but Dr. Dre is doing everything he can to protect the fortune he has created through his time as an entrepreneur, rapper, and producer.
Dr. Dre has said he and Nicole signed a prenuptial agreement, but Nicole and her legal team say she was pressured to sign it. According to Hot New Hip Hop, Nicole and Dre were married for 25 years until it was revealed they were going to split up this year.
TMZ reported on new details regarding their divorce this week, with Dre coming out victorious. Reportedly, a judge rejected Nicole’s request for $1.5 million to cover her lifestyle, including costs for security and other expenses.
However, Nicole and her legal team were in court today, and they’ve argued that she needs more money because she’s now receiving death threats. They claim that people have been sending messages about wanting to kill her for a “small fee.”

According to TMZ, the judge shot down Nicole’s request for more money for a security team because Dre had already hired one for her, but she fired all of them. Nicole says Dre has been too controlling and she wants to hire her own team.
TMZ also claims Dre’s legal team was there, and they told the judge they were willing to pay for her expenses, as well as her protection, which was later demanded by the court. Moreover, Nicole requested to have her case moved up in the queue, but the judge rejected that as well.
According to the outlet, the judge feels like there are more serious domestic dispute cases to worry about, and Nicole’s life is not in danger. It’s not clear what’s going to happen with Nicole, but 50 Cent found himself in the crosshairs of Dre’s daughter earlier this month.
