Designer brand Aimer has released ten original gown designs for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The fashion brand also announced a dress-up photo contest for Christmas that will last until the end of the year.
Aimer was founded 88 years ago. The fashion company has continued to release high-quality fashion designs that also stay true to Japanese traditions. Aimer’s designs are being released free for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The designs are available to download now on Aimer’s official website, which is also linked on the company’s official Twitter account. Accessing the designs is easy but requires the Able Sisters shop on the island plus an active Nintendo Switch Online account. With the design names, players can do a search for the design or the designer to download all of the dresses.
The dress designs will all download to “My Designs.” Players will need free space to download the design, or they will be asked to overwrite an existing design. From there, players can choose the design of their choice and then try it on. The dresses can be paired with any of the available hairstyles or wigs within the game.

The gowns all have specific themes. “Sweet mood” is a floral-themed design with a green ribbon tied at the waist. “Buttercup” is a crime-colored dress with ruffles in the front, while “Dreamland” is a dark salmon pink-colored down with an elegant ruffle in the front.
“Precious Pearl” is a pink dress decorated with small white pearls. “Superb” is a dark blue gown with three white pearls at the waist, while “Floralnote” is a black down with several ruffles at the bottom. Additional designs include the salmon-colored dress “Twinkle,” bright blue dress “Sunlight,” Dark pink colored dress “Dryflower,” and the red gown “Maple.”
The company has also announced a contest that takes place from December 4 until December 28. Players are asked to submit photos within the game with their islander wearing one of the ten designs. There are no free gifts, but the winning designs will be posted on the Aimer website.
Aimer decided to release the designs now because of the impact that COVID-19 has had. At the end of the year, people often participate in parties and other events, but unfortunately, the virus has only gotten worse and kept people indoors once again.
Players can recreate holiday events within the game without worrying about spreading COVID-19. The designs are also suitable to wear for future events that may take place next year within the game.
