DaBaby Addresses Reports Of A Shooting On His Music Video Set

Hot New Hip Hop reported this weekend that DaBaby’s recent music video shoot was the location of harmful gunfire. Reportedly, the rapper was in the middle of a video shoot in North Carolina when gunfire suddenly erupted.

The outlet says they got their hands on footage which appeared to show people running away as shots were going off. Marvin Beach of WCCB Charlotte confirmed that a shooting took place and one woman is now in the hospital because of it.

A person in the video can be heard saying that they “hit the lady” in the crossfire, even though she wasn’t the target. The person in the clip goes on to say that he hoped the woman made it to the hospital and survives.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, not long before the shooting occurred, the rapper shared a video in which he was showing off his cash and appearing to enjoy his life. Additionally, DaBaby later addressed the incident and said he wasn’t even there for it.

The star said in his response that he “wasn’t there for that cute a** ‘shootout’” he keeps hearing about, but he does have a new video on its way. Fans of DaBaby know this wouldn’t be the first time he found himself involved in trouble.

Earlier this year, the rapper was in the headlines after he managed to settle one of his legal disputes. The rapper had been accused by Marjorie Guaracho of stealing one of her performances for a music video. Marjorie had claimed she wasn’t pleased with the way she was portrayed.

Moreover, DaBaby again settled another lawsuit in which a concert performer accused him of breaching his contract. DaBaby was going to put on a show for fans, but he wound up getting into a fight with someone outside while on his way into the venue.

DaBaby then canceled his show and the promoter said he took the money but never actually put on a performance. The rapper later responded to the suit with his own in which he stated they failed to provide adequate security for the concert.
