Pets are part of the family! Gisele Bündchen and Reese Witherspoon are just some stars that have shown their fur babies get along wonderfully with their human kids through the years
Bündchen couldn’t help but gush over a photo of her daughter, Vivian, then 8, sleeping between the family dogs, pitbull mix Lua and terrier Fluffy in May 2021. The little girl had a dog on either side of her, under the covers.
“I just can’t with them! How I found my little girls in the morning!” the model, who has been married to Tom Brady since 2009, captioned the photo at the time.
The model shared another image of her son, Benjamin, then 11, cuddling with Onyx, a black pitbull mix in July 2021. The two enjoyed an outdoor snuggle against a beautiful view of mountains and sky. Gisele captioned the snap with a simple heart.
Vivian and Benjamin — along with Jack, who Brady shares with Bridget Moynahan — love their pack of pets, which also includes a beagle named Scooby. They seem thrilled every time a new furry family member is brought home.
“Thank you @wagsandwalks for all you do and for letting us rescue this little angel,” the former Victoria’s Secret Angel wrote via Instagram in 2016. “The kids are over the moon with our new family member. Fluffy is pure joy.”
Witherspoon’s youngest son, Tennessee, was just as excited that she and his dad, Jim Toth, brought home a puppy in January 2021. Days after introducing the new canine, she revealed that the then-7-year-old already bonded with his pup.
“Tennessee’s best bud, Major the lab puppy…. plus a very important Minnie Pearl t-shirt cameo,” the Legally Blonde star shared via Instagram, noting the photo of their French Bulldog on Tennessee’s shirt.
That same year, Pink and Carey Hart‘s kids, Willow and Jameson, snuggled up with their new rescue dog. “Thank you to the [The Labelle Foundation] for helping us rescue our newest family member, Habañero Mountain Guy Kadashi Hart. We love the work that you do ❤️,” the “Just Like Fire” singer tweeted in March 2021.
Some celeb dogs are just as well-traveled as their owners. In August 2021, Chrissy Teigen revealed that she brought her pups on tour with husband John Legend and their two children, Miles and Luna. “Tour has begun! Currently in Atlanta with the babies and dogs in tow!” she captioned a snap of their son and French bulldog, Penny.
In addition to Penny, Teigen and Legend share English bulldog Paul, poodle Petey and basset hound Pearl.
