Corey Feldman is remembering his favorite artist John Lennon on the fortieth anniversary of the Beatles‘ singer’s death. After sharing his heartfelt sympathies to John’s widow, Yoko Ono, and sons Julian and Sean Lennon, he shared his cover of one of John Lennon‘s most beloved songs “Working Class Hero.”
John Lennon was murdered during the evening hours of December 8, 1980, when Mark David Chapman opened fire on the peace activist and musician while outside his New York home at The Dakota. Chapman’s motivation included his dissatisfaction with song lyrics and that John Lennon had once said that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ. Chapman also had delusions regarding the book “The Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger.
