According to Hot New Hip Hop, Brian Griffin walks into the office for a writer’s position at a website, and the interviewer asks him about his previous work.
Brian says to him in response that “Cardi B tweeted something,” and then he retweeted her tweet with a series of messages, (clearly, a shot at the state of modern journalism). Reportedly, the Cardi reference comes from the 8th episode of Season 19, “Pawtucket Pat.” It came out on the 6th of December, Sunday.
It’s evident that Cardi B managed to catch wind of the Family Guy joke, because she re-tweeted the clip along with the messages that she was so “irrelevant.” According to Hot New Hip Hop, it’s possible Cardi may have released the tweet in response to some of the criticism regarding her supposed lack of releases lately.
Fans of the performing artist know she hasn’t released a full-length project since the 2018 album, Invasion Of Privacy. On the other hand, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion did participate in the song, “WAP,” which was a wild success.
