Blizzard Releases A Top Five Checklist Of Activities To Complete Before World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands Drops

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is nearly upon us! Despite delays, Blizzard is still positive that they can have the expansion out at some point in the remaining two months of this year.

While they haven’t given us an exact date of when we should expect the title, it seems like it must be close. The prepatch released earlier this week on Tuesday, bringing a massive number of changes.

However, not every change was an addition – plenty was removed, such as a few items that now can only be found on the Black Market Auction House. With things continuing to be removed, Blizzard released a list of the top 5 activities you can complete to prepare for Shadowlands.

Not all of these are limited time, so much as just a good way to be prepared! Still, it’s a good idea to catch up on the items that will be leaving so you know what sort of last chances you still have kicking around.

Blizzard lists the following five activities as the top five things to accomplish before the Shadowlands open up:

Collect Transmogs and other appearances to keep your fashion in top shape. Level your alts up to 50 before the Shadowlands expansion arrives to help yourself be ready to tackle the new content. Unlock your faction mount by completing both faction’s war campaigns. Finish Heroic Ny’alotha to unlock your exclusive Uncorrupted Voidwing mount. Unlock flying in Battle for Azeroth zones by completing Pathfinders part one and two.

This is far from an exclusive list, but definitely a good primer! Heroic Ny’alotha might be the most important one to tackle, as the Ahead of the Curve achievement to unlock the mount will be leaving soon.

Otherwise, it might be a good idea to get working on completing the Pathfinders to unlock flying. While it might seem unimportant, you may end up regretting it if you need to go back to Zandalar or Kul Tiras at any point in the future.

The transmogrifications are more a time killer than anything else, as you’ll still be able to farm transmogs at any point in the future. That said, make sure that the appearances that you want aren’t about to be removed from the game!

Leveling up your alts is important, but again, nothing is stopping you from doing this later on. Make sure you have the characters that you want to have at max level ready to jump into the Shadowlands and then you’re good to go.
