Bad Bunny Opens Up About His ‘Dark’ Album And Reveals How It’s Helped His Mental Health Amid The Pandemic!

Bad Bunny has dropped a brand new album and as it turns out, it was more meant for him than for those who listen to his music! After all, the project, titled El Último Tour del Mundo, explores his mental health and is rather dark and vulnerable.

That being said, during an interview with ET, the star stressed that the album ‘is part of’ him and contrasted it with YHLQMDLG and Las que no iban a salir, which were released in February and May, respectively.

Compared to the other two, Bad Bunny mentioned that ‘This album is more feeling. It’s more sadness and heartbroken. It’s dark. But with feeling. I love it. It’s like, a part of me.’

The album not only shows a different side of the artist but also shows a different world view.

As for the title, it seems to be all about the ways in which the world has changed ever since the COVID-19 virus has taken over the world.

‘It’s not the last world tour. It’s the last tour of the world… from any artist. After this tour, the world ends. Looking at the world, everyone looks like The Walking Dead. 100% [this album helped my mental health]. This is like, a relief for me because I was quarantined … the only thing that I had was the music,’ he went on to say.

Aside from his music, Bad Bunny has received a lot of support from J Balvin as well.

The collaborator received some credit from Bad Bunny for helping him ‘a lot in some things about mental health.’

And, of course, his girlfriend, Gabriela Berlingeri, has been there for him as well, calling her the ‘perfect quarantine partner.’

At this point in time, the rapper is still recovering after testing positive for the virus last week.
