Andy Cohen is speaking about the latest Housewife send off — Teddi Mellencamp. During his morning radio show, he not only praised the way that she handled it but also spoke about her diet business that has recently come under fire.
John Mellencamp’s daughter took to Instagram to confirm the rumors that she had been given the boot from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She also made it clear that the decision is not mutual — something other Housewives rarely ever say.
Andy feels that it was refreshing to see her be so honest about her contract not being renewed.
‘Teddi Mellencamp released what I thought was one of the most, no BS, ‘I’m leaving’ announcements on record. I thought that was really good. She’s an accountability coach. So she checked herself. There are not many people for whom this year has been a good year, but [Teddi] had some major health stuff with her kids. So I was watching [her announcement] thinking, ‘Wow, she’s been through it health wise with her kids [and] now this,’ he said on Andy Cohen Live.

He also addressed whether her firing had something to do with her business, All In, getting exposed for their diet plan that entails 500-1000 calories a day and requires a daily hour of cardio.
If you think that’s strict, people who were once in the program also claimed that they had to send a photo of themselves and their food to an accountability coach who critiqued their progress.
If anything, Andy thinks it would have been great for the show.
‘There’s a whole controversy online about her business that’s going on [and] I do want to say, people are speculating that the online chatter about her business led to her dismissal. And I just want to say, because I think it’s important, that one had absolutely nothing to do with the other. I actually would have liked to see her respond to her critics on the show. I would have liked to have seen that.’
He also claimed that Jeff Lewis did the diet plan and didn’t have any negative things to say other than he was hungry.
