The actress’ 9 year old son had been rocking long hair for a long time so when he finally cut his beautiful locks off, she admitted to crying inside! Alicia Silverstone took to social media to tell her followers that she was deeply hurt by the haircut of her son, Bear Blu.
After all, he went from super long to super short super quickly so it makes sense that it was a bit hard to cope with for the mom.
Besides, it kind of feels like the end of an era as well!
As you might know, the little boys hair reached well down his back and for a while, he really loved the look.
But now, he just seemed ready for a change and what better way to do that than changing one’s hairstyle?
The Clueless star confessed that she teared up watching her son chopping off his long hair and becoming all ‘grown up!’
In the caption, she wrote: ‘Yes, It’s true. Bear cut his hair!! My baby is growing up. I miss his hair!!!!! Was it his decision? Yes. Did I cry inside while I watched him get it cut? Maybe… but did I try to stop him? Not for even one second. The reason he chose to keep it long for as long as he did was because he loved it so much!!! He wanted to try something new.’

The actress went on to say that ‘Although I have a feeling he will find a way back to his long hair again in the future. No matter what though, I’ll always support my sweet, caring, precious little boy in every decision he makes.’
This comes about two months after Alicia revealed her son was already planning on cutting his hair previously.
However, after getting bullied for his long locks at surf camp, he decided to show those bullies and grow it to his waist instead!
